Shock Cord

Durable elastic rope

This Shock Cord is an elastic rope with high abrasion resistance and longitudinal stretchability. With a diameter of 3.2 mm, it is a versatile option for use in, for example, clothing, bags, backpacks and equipment with moisture or weather protection.

The rope is made from TRUELOCK™ fibers from the CORDURA® brand. The color pigments and IR treatment are integrated into the polymer during the melting process, making them a permanent part of the fiber.

The result is a robust material with a long-lasting IR treatment and colors that match other TRUELOCK™ textiles in an excellent way.

The rope is 3.2 mm wide and consists of 55% elastodiene and 45% nylon.

Sold per meter. When purchasing more than one meter, the rope is delivered in one continuous length.
